Hina dolls are not created overnight.
Touching the fabric, dyeing the threads—weaving, sewing, assembling, and refining. The processes that cannot be seenare those that require the longest time and the deepest, quiet concentration.
Nearly a year.Through the harmony of human hands and the rhythms of nature,a single pair of hina dolls is finally completedand presented in the showroom.
This is not time spent to make them quickly, but time devoted to allowing them to exist beautifully.

The making of hina dolls begins with backing the fabric with washi paper. From there, the garments are sewn and dressed, and even the gestures are carefully arranged. Each figure is shaped through layers of time and process.

The silk threads used for the garments begin with dyeing.Color is never achieved in a single step—it is built gradually through repeated layers of dyeuntil the desired depth is reached.

The dyed silk threads are then woven by hand.Though even in appearance, the fabric holds subtle variations that no machine can produce—a texture that can only emerge from human hands.

Even the core of the body begins with preparing the material.Rice straw is first dried under the sun.By working in harmony with nature, and allowing time to guide the process, the dolls are able to endure with lasting beauty.
